"I finally was able to try out the new Jackson river boat - the Fun Runner, at Sierra South this past week. It’s slightly longer than the Hero I had, and shorter than the Remix, at 7'9". I thought the 60 gallon volume would make me feel 'corky' but I felt low and fast in this boat, as well as stable. Since I love slalom and speed in a boat, I have avoided boats with too flat a bottom and planing hull. Not to worry on this one: I was able to move it quickly up eddies to attain Riverside Park. I also loved the carving ability it has, and how easy it is to control quick turns in both eddies and current. It surfed beautifully! This will make the class II-III runs fun again and give me more options and control on the IV's. The bottom line is... I am ordering one! Now... if they only had purple.....”
