The Lickety Split is a great trip for families and first-timers! This trip is full of excitement for just about everyone from youngsters to grandmas and grandpas. Before your rafting trip, a Sierra South professional river guide provides you with a trip overview, paddling gear, and a paddle talk. Then it’s all forward for three miles of jam-packed rafting action on Kern River rapids such as Powerhouse, Big Daddy, and Ewings.

Trip ARRIVAL Times*: 10:15am and 4:00pm

March – August

Trip DEPARTURE Times: 10:45am and 4:30pm
(What time the trip will take off)

*We suggest you arrive at the store 30-45 minutes prior to the trip departure time. This will allow sufficient time to check-in and change into wetsuits, if needed or required. Our trips must leave on schedule. If you have a group over 20 or are getting wetsuits, please arrive 45 minutes to one hour prior. Don’t miss the boat!

*All our trips may be adjusted based on water levels and/or other conditions.

*6% Private Land Use Fee

Requirements

Must be at least 6 years old

Must weigh between 50 – 300 lbs.

Appropriate footwear: Tennis shoes, water shoes, or sandals with heel strap. NO FLIP-FLOPS OR BARE FEET!

Wear clothes that can get wet
