Whitewater Kayaking in Southern California

Learn the basics of whitewater kayaking, through a progression of paddling skills and river reading exercises. Sierra South operates the oldest, largest, and most experienced whitewater kayaking school in Southern California.

We offer both whitewater kayak and recreational kayak courses and trips. Our kayak trips range from a quick one-hour paddle to a full six-to seven-hour day trip, and even multiple-day courses, to hone your skills!
